Update: New look Bank Reconciliation

The bank reconciliation program (that's Check My Statements, to you and I!) has now been substantially amended to improve user experience, correct some minor faults on the calculator and correct problems experienced by larger users that were causing items to remain un-reconciled if ticking a large number of items at a time. The main features are: 1. Transactions now load on one complete page, keeping each transaction to one line 2. Totals now show statement balances 3. Calculator totals are locked to the top left-hand corner, even when scrolling down the page, so you can see projected statement balances at all times. 3. Improvements made to the calculator, making it more efficient and accurate 4.  Introducing a new concept of 'Pending' reconciliation. Users have the ability to tick ...

Update: Composing Email for Invoices

Following the upgrade of our email servers, the email of invoices now allows you to enter their own 'From' address rather than Liquid. This is the start of a process that will eventually be rolled out across all emails generated by the system. To use, once the email has been generated, a new field is shown: From - this defaults to the current Liquid address.  Altering this field will retain the address for future use.

However a recent Any Answers post from Logika highlighted disquiet about a recent increase from £75 a month to £117 (plus VAT). Unfortunately for the AccountingWEB member, the rise was not shown immediately on Sage's website and the firm had quoted the lower £75 pricing to a client. Sage agreed to honour the lower price months, but ...
