Job Description

Title: Marketing Executive
Location: Based at our Head Office on the Leeds/Huddersfield border.
Reports to: Chief Executive
Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits

Job Objective:
Responsible for developing and maintaining PR, marketing and communication strategies to meet organisational objectives (in conjunction with external marketing/PR company). Oversee all PR, marketing, lead generation, communication, advertising and promotional activities.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the PR, marketing and communications of company products in the growing SaaS , accountancy marketplace.

Develop and implement an annual PR, marketing and communications plan as part of a collaborative team (in conjunction with external agency, sales department and senior management team) which will include:

o Researching and targeting key new markets and products
o Researching, management, writing and production of marketing materials such as brochures, regular e-newsletters, web content, sales emails
o Social media activities
o Writing and distributing press releases
o Creating and organising events

Support the management team in internal communications including managing the intranet.
Ensure all marketing and communications activity is delivered within the agreed budget.

Relationships:
Demonstrate the ability to interact and communicate at all levels within the organisation.
Maintain professional relationships, internally and externally, in accordance with company core values.

Skills and Experience:
1. Essential
Solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience in a marketing, PR and communications role including devising and delivering on marketing and communications strategies to meet company objectives.
Understanding and skills in social media, IT and wide variety of software packages.
Meticulous attention to detail.

A commercial head and ability to prioritise activities on achieving commercial success.
Ability to win confidence of colleagues and work comfortably with people at all levels of seniority.
Confidence in an emerging, cloud centric marketplace
Build strong relationships with external agencies/consultants

2. Desirable
Experience in a related business sector i.e. accountancy, cloud / SaaS market.
Experience in channel, reseller, and agent communications.
