To support the business in delivering the best possible service and results, Comtec relies upon its business management software to ensure that the finances are under control. For many years, this was done using Sage 50, the perennial desktop accounting package that has been a feature of British businesses for many years.


However, the business felt it was time to move on and modernise their accounting and finance procedures to better match how the team were now working, and Liquid was considered as a Sage 50 replacement.


One of the main drivers of wanting to move to cloud accounting software was the freedom of using the software wherever it was needed, and it not being an on-premise package as Anne, the finance manager, does not attend the office every day and needs to use the software wherever she happens to be at any given time.
