As Cloud computing continues to grow, the BBC has released an article through the Business section of their website entitled ‘Cloud Computing for business goes mainstream’.

The article, written by business editor Tim Weber, identifies the 5 key benefits of Cloud Computing as being Cheap, Quick, Up-to-date, Scaleable and Mobile.

‘Cloud computing has been an information technology buzzword for many years. Now it is going mainstream.’

A similar article published through the BBC last month predicts that ‘the UK will spend over £1 billion on Cloud Computing by 2012’ as consumers and business-owners continue to subscribe to web-based solutions, such as Liquid.

Each story promotes and highlights the rapid growth that cloud computing has experienced in recent times, and predicts that it will continue to become a dominant force in business in years to come.
