This week you can catch Liquid’s MD, Matt Holmes, at a CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) event in Rotherham and an ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales) event in Hatfield telling accountants about cloud computing, cloud accounting, and Liquid Accounts.

The CIMA event is tonight (19th September) at the Aston Hotel, Catcliffe, Rotherham from 6 till 8 and will take an in-depth look at cloud: what it is, why it is here and an exploration of accounting in the cloud and the benefits that it can bring to accountants and the businesses they work with.

Matt, who is on the Governing Body of the Cloud Industry Forum and was the founding Chair of the Cloud Computing Special Interest Group for BASDA (the Business Application Software Developers Association) is known for being able to explain cloud technology in a non-technical way and for giving practical hints and tips and how small businesses and their accountants can take advantage of cloud technology  in order to gain a competitive edge.

And on Tuesday evening, Matt will be speaking to Chartered Accountants in Commerce from the Beds, Bucks and Herts Society of Chartered Accountants, at the launch event of their Business Members’ Forum.  The event, entitled, What’s In the Cloud? at Beales Hotel in Hatfield, starts at 6.15 and ends at 8.30 and includes networking and a buffet.
