Liquid announce 2010/2011 sponsorship of Techmesh

We are pleased to announce that Liquid have been confirmed as an official sponsor of Techmesh for a 12-month period running until April 2011.
As a strategic marketing partner of Techmesh, we will be able to promote our Cloud Accounting software to key influential IT and Telecoms organisations within Yorkshire and Humberside, whilst being able to converse with Techmesh members about our award-winning online accounting package.

We’re delighted to have agreed this sponsorship deal with Techmesh. It allows us to meet with companies from across the region at Techmesh’s highly regarded events. By attending these events since signing the sponsorship deal, we have already interacted with a range of reputable national businesses as well as smaller, regional businesses in Yorkshire and Humberside.
The deal also allows our in-house cloud expert and MD, Matt Holmes, to speak at a number of events throughout the year, as chair of the BASDA Special Interests Group on Cloud Computing.
The partnership kicks off in a few weeks time at the Techmesh:TechTalk event on Cloud Computing. The event, to be held in Leeds on 25th May 2010, will involve a discussion about Cloud Computing and it’s role and benefits for the future of business.
The event is targeted at companies who supply IT and Telecoms products and services, as well as those who want to learn about how Cloud Computing can help their business. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss and debate topics relating to Cloud Computing with the panel of industry experts.
Liquid’s MD, Matt Holmes, will be on the panel alongside representatives from IT giants Microsoft. Matt also has a speaking slot at the event in which he will discuss the benefits of Cloud Computing (or SaaS – Software as a Service) and Cloud Accounting for businesses of all size.
Techmesh is a not for profit organisation, which is supported by Regional Development Agency, Yorkshire Forward. It was set up to be the business network for the IT and Telecommunications sector within Yorkshire and Humberside and allows businesses within this sector to meet, exchange and share information.
As chair of the BASDA Special Interests Group for Cloud Computing, Matt uses his expert industry knowledge to speak at a range of Cloud Computing events and discussion forums and this year has already spoken at high profile events across Europe.
