Liquid founder and Marketing Director, Lisa Kendrick will today be attending the Specsavers everywoman in Retail Awards in London.
Lisa will be attended as a guest of The Aspire Fund after her role in attracting part of Liquid’s £770,000 investment earlier this year, part of which was funded by the government-backed, Aspire Fund. The event coincides with everywoman publishing an interview with Lisa about her experiences of setting up and running a market-leading cloud accounting software company, and of successfully raising investment.
The third annual Specsavers everywoman in Retail Awards takes place at The Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane tonight, and will be hosted by TV Presenter Gok Wan . The awards aim to address the severe shortage of senior women working in the industry.
Earlier this year, Lisa spoke about her experiences of setting up and building Liquid Accounts and attracting the company’s £770,000 investment as keynote speaker at the Aspire to Inspire event in Leeds in May.
