Liquid MD invited to talk at Cloud Computing Conference

Matt Holmes, Liquid MD and Chair of the Cloud Computing Special Interest Group for BASDA is once again on the road to speak at a cloud computing event.
After Matt’s success at the Sheffield Hallam University for ‘Inside Cloud Computing’, he has now been invited to speak at the Cloud Computing Conference hosted by eBusiness Club and East Midlands Chambers of Commerce.
The event will be held at Nottingham Conference Centre, on the 15th April. The free one-day event is designed to provide you with information and practical advice to be able to implement cloud computing services in your business.
Matt will be giving an introduction to the benefits of cloud computing for small businesses, what’s required and the perceived risks involved in using it. Matt will be presenting ‘in the cloud’.
The day will include a series of short presentations explaining the business benefits of using this technology, the security considerations and advice on moving to the cloud. There will also be case studies and a practical demonstration of how a small business can set up and fully integrate cloud technology in the business.
If you are interested in understanding how cloud computing can simplify the usage of information technology, save money and increase staff productivity this conference will be a great opportunity to get a real insight into the cloud.
