Liquid Accounts is pleased to be supporting the Rushlight Clean Technologies Show and Rushlight Awards in London later this month.  The one-day event aims to celebrate, promote and support organisations in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, green products and services and waste and resource management.  Liquid has pledged to give a year’s free subscription for its award-winning, Institute of Chartered Accountants and Institute of Certified Bookkeepers accredited online accounting software to award-winners in all 31 categories, as part of a total prize-fund worth over £50,000.

Matt Holmes, MD of Liquid Accounts said, ‘Clean technology is definitely something that interests us at Liquid Accounts.  Cloud accounting (and cloud computing in general) has a number of green benefits for companies in that it can dramatically cut down the amount of paperwork involved in doing your accounts, can contribute to flexible and home-working policies, and can reduce office hardware needs.

For these reasons we are popular amongst green companies who want to use the latest technologies to become more efficient, carbon-neutral and paperless.  For example, we have several clients who design and manufacture wind turbines, manufacture and supply recycled products and who buy and sell biofuels.’

Matt will be attending the awards dinner at the historic Church House in Westminster on January 27th.  The guest speaker will be the Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser, Professor Sir John Beddington.
