After the success of our training programme this month we are pleased to announce we will be hosting more in the New Year.

There are 2 training programmes: one for customers who wish to learn more about and become more competent on Liquid Accounts, and one for accountants, bookkeepers, and resellers who want to become Accredited Liquid Accounts Partners and would like to be able to problem solve or offer training for clients.

These are in addition to our free introductory webinars which are open to anyone.  ‘An Introduction to Liquid Accounts’ and ‘An Introduction to Liquid Client Manager’ run on alternate Fridays, and ‘An Introduction to Additional Modules and Functionality is run every other week.

Customer Training

The customer training will be delivered as 5×1-1.5 hour webinars covering:

  1. Customers – creating and maintaining customer records and dealing with payments
  2. Suppliers – creating and maintaining supplier records and dealing with payments
  3. Bank accounts – creating and maintaining bank accounts and checking against statements
  4. The Nominal Ledger – understanding what a nominal ledger is, creating and maintaining nominal codes and posting journal entries
  5. Reports, VAT Returns and Running a Year End – including turnover, profit and loss, and balance sheet

Each webinar includes practical activities to let you try things for yourself as you learn and course materials.  The whole course trains you in all the main things you’ll need to know to manage your accounts on Liquid.

You can choose to take 1 module at a time for £25 each or you can sign up for the whole course at a discounted rate of £100.

We will be running 1 webinar per week for 5 weeks and the first course is from 13th January to 10th February.  The second course is from 8th February to 15th March.  Please give us your feedback on the best times for running these sorts of webinar courses by taking a couple of minutes (literally) to answer 3 questions HERE.  Many thanks.

Accountant and Bookkeeper Training

The Accredited Partner training for accountants, bookkeepers and resellers consists of a 1-day, classroom based course delivered as either as a public course for up to 10 people or as a private in-house course.  Both options train and test you on all the key functionality in Liquid Accounts.  Once you’ve completed the course you will receive Liquid Accreditation and the full training pack so that you can run the Liquid training course yourself for colleagues or clients.

Accredited Partners who’ve completed the course will be able to run the courses themselves as an added value service or extra revenue stream in addition to earning commissions and discounts from referring or reselling Liquid Accounts.  We also plan to offer our Accredited Partners the option of co-hosting a seminar or training event with Liquid, promotion and referrals via our website and a yearly free refresher course before the year end rush.

The cost of the 1-day public course is £250 per delegate (which includes lunch, course materials, and a full training package to take away), whereas the 1-day in-house course will cost £600 plus expenses.
