Liquid MD and cloud computing expert, Matt Holmes, has been selected to join a panel of successful local business personalities for this years’ Kirklees Business Conference.

The event, to be held at Huddersfield’s Galpharm Stadium this evening, will attract business professionals from across the region, and is a popular event in the local business calendar.

Matt will be on the panel of successful business personalities from the local area, alongside Margaret Wood (regional Chaiman for Yorkshire – Institute of Directors), Simon Hill (Executive Director, Business – Yorkshire Forward), Jill Hague (Area Commercial Director – HSBC), Kevin C. Newson (Senior Partner – Yorkshire Bank) and Prof. Bob Cryan (Vice-Chancellor – University of Huddersfield). These key Kirklees stakeholders will sit on the panel facing an audience of approximately 75 of Kirklees’ most influential business people.

Speaking about the event, Matt said:

‘As a successful growing business in the heart of Kirklees, we’re keen to attend this event to learn from other local businesses the issues facing business growth and sustainability in the region. The event will be useful for all attendees and allows the next generation of local businesses to learn and plan for issues affecting their business growth and development.’

Taking place within the Fantastic Media Suite at the Galpharm Stadium, the Kirklees Summit will provide an opportunity for local business professionals to have their say on business in Kirklees, whilst networking with high-profile local business leaders. The event will bring together businesses from across the Kirklees region to create a live forum where business owners can openly debate how to make the region an even better place in which to run a business.
