Matt Holmes, our MD and cloud computing expert has once again been selected to speak at Kirklees Business Summit alongside a panel of local successful business experts.
The event will be held at Huddersfield’s Galpharm Stadium this evening and will attract influential business professionals from around the region. September’s Summit is going to be focusing on Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP’s), which are going to have a significant effect on Kirklees and the Yorkshire area after the recent abolishment of Regional Development Agencies.
Matt will be on a panel together with Paul Joyce (Managing Partner, Ramsdens Solicitors), Greg Jennings (Assistant Director for Regeneration & Economic Development, Kirklees Council), Helen West (Chief Executive, Business Link Yorkshire), Carl Hopkins (Managing Director, kloog) and Panel Chair will be held by Danny Matharu (Managing Director, Hillrich). These key Kirklees stakeholders will sit on the panel facing an audience of approximately 75 of Kirklees’ most influential business people.
After a great change over the course of the recession the Summit will be a great chance to discuss the next steps to recovery and new changes after the scrapping of Yorkshire Forward and potentially as a result, Business Link Yorkshire.
Taking place in the Fantastic Media Suite at the Galpharm Stadium, the Kirklees Summit will be a great opportunity to network with forward-thinking businesses and to debate on how the LEP should be run and who should be involved to make it a success for everyone.
