Liquid’s online accounting software has once again been entered into the Software Satisfaction Awards for 2011.
We will be competing in the Accounting and Finance category. In 2008 we won the Best Web-Based Accounting Software, as voted for by our customers, beating competition from large players in the industry such as Sage, Access and Pegasus. Liquid also came runner-up in 2009 ‘Best Small Business Accounting Software’ category.
The Software Satisfaction Awards are organised and run by Sift Media. Sift Media is a leading business-to-business publisher specialising in online, interactive professional communities. With a range of services including websites, email publications, industry awards and events, Sift Media delivers original, branded content to over half a million professionals in accounting and finance, HR and training, IT, marketing, public sector, customer management and knowledge management.
The awards are in partnership with Intellect (UK trade association for the technology industries including IT, telecoms and electronics) and sponsored by BASDA (Business Application Software Developers Association), for whom our MD, Matt Holmes, is Chair of the Cloud Computing SIG, the ICAEW IT Faculty (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales), clicktools and K2Advisory.
Since being introduced in 2006, the awards have seen continual growth and are now seen by many as the main software industry awards event of the business calendar. The winners will be announced at the Software Satisfaction Awards ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square on 18 October 2011.
